The Twenty-Twos 10.10.03
@ Plaid NYC

Yeah it's not a "real" music venue, and it's best known for being the former Spa than anything, but goddamn if Plaid doesn't have the best lighting for shows in the City. Case in point, the greatest unsigned band on the planet, The Twenty-Twos who I've seen now six times in various states of inebriation - and they've never looked or sounded (in spite of the much-maligned Plaid sound system) better than here this night.

Weird, with the following week after this show unofficially the Gina Gershon marathon, it was great to be able to see the real thing live and in action. OK, now I promise to never bring up that comparison to Jenny in these pages ever again.

For those of you outside of NYC, prepare yourselves, once they make that inevitable step up and outside of our fair City, you're in for a live experience that far outweighs any fictional documentary of hot chicks in a band. Damn I did it again. Sorry.
