@ The Stone NYC So the thought process going into the day of waiting 13 hours for this show at the tiny Stone was simple: Seeing one of the living Mt. Rushmore of rock (Dylan, Bowie, McCartney being the others for me) in such an intimate setting would be something we' be able to proudly tell our grandkids about. Imagine seeing and hearing all even just one Velvet Underground song from 3 feet away! Well we definitely kept imagining - to the point that I was inserting the lyrics to "Satellite of Love" over the noise Lou and co. produced in my head. That actually worked out pretty well for me. Props to very cute openers and contributors Buke and Gass (who are incredible first-names Aron and Arone) for not only hanging with the grown-ups during the jam session, but really setting a nice tone to start out the night.
