On a weekend night like this, a good dance rock band like The Factory can push a tight and crowded room into that hot and bothered territory where shimmying becomes mandatory and sweating isn't an option.  So it was that these guys - who have hands down one of the best band names going - ended a night of great music that included the excellent Tenements who preceded them.  Go down the list of what makes a successful band: charismatic lead singer in leather jacket - check.  Pulsating rhythm section - check.  Finely crafted boogie-inducing songs - check and mate.  Looking forward to seeing them in a venue where the lighting system can really do them justice and doesn't have to be hand-operated by me - making shooting the rest of their set damn near impossible from behind the sound board.
