@ Fontana's NYC Oh man, Id forgotten just how fucking good these guys are! Maybe it was the smoke and the lights, but more likely the fact that I wasn't hammered and running to the bathroom in between each song, but Des Roar have exploded into an absolutely amazing band. The feeling I had the whole time I was shooting them was standing in front of a jet engine, a really tight, loud, fast and bluesy jet engine. Folks who say rock is dead or NYC has gone to sloppy emaciated Brooklyn hipsters have another thing coming. myspace.com/desroar |
